Position Summary

Sample Supports is seeking a Part-Time Quality Assurance Specialist to help strengthen and maintain the integrity of our systems and services through compliance auditing, tracking, and process improvement. Key Responsibilities

  • Audit & Compliance: Review files and internal systems to ensure compliance with HCPF, CDPHE, DVR, and all other applicable local, state, and federal guidelines.
  • Systems & Process Improvement: Assist in the development and refinement of quality assurance workflows, forms, and protocols.
  • Tracking & Documentation: Maintain up-to-date tracking systems and documentation for audits, regulatory requirements, billing codes, and recordkeeping.
  • Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve discrepancies in service authorizations, billing codes, and supporting documentation.
  • Communication & Follow-Up: Notify and collaborate with responsible team members to ensure timely corrections and complete documentation.
  • Internal Support & Training: Provide information and guidance to leadership and staff regarding audit outcomes, updates to regulations, and plans of correction.
  • Audit Participation: Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation, attending meetings, and coordinating responses as needed.
  • Risk Monitoring: Help identify areas for improvement and support the development of data-informed risk mitigation strategies.


Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Must be 18 years of age or older (due to driving requirements)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Comfortable with digital tools including Google Workspace
  • Familiarity with Medicaid, DVR, PARs, or Therap documentation is a plus
  • Experience in compliance, auditing, quality assurance, or human services preferred
  • Ability to interpret and apply complex regulations effectively
  • Strong communication and follow-up skills


Additional Notes

  • This role is primarily focused on compliance, auditing, and internal systems.
  • While this is not a direct care position, candidates may occasionally support other program functions if requested or required.
  • Sample Supports provides training for all systems and documentation requirements.
