We are seeking a dynamic Director of Human Resources to lead all HR functions and support a positive, high-performance culture.

 

Position Overview:

The Director of Human Resources will oversee all HR operations, including recruitment, training, benefits, payroll, performance management, and compliance. This role collaborates closely with leadership to align HR initiatives with organizational goals and ensure a motivated, engaged, and legally compliant workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

  • HR Strategy: Align HR practices with organizational goals and develop staffing models to support growth.
  • Recruitment & Hiring: Manage recruitment, job postings, interviews, onboarding, and exit processes.
  • Training & Development: Identify training needs and create programs to support staff development.
  • Legal Compliance: Ensure compliance with labor laws and handle investigations/hearings as necessary.
  • Compensation & Benefits: Administer competitive programs and manage broker relationships.
  • Payroll Administration: Oversee payroll accuracy, timeliness, and resolve payroll issues.
  • 401(k) Management: Manage employee enrollment, contributions, and compliance with the plan provider.
  • Performance Management: Lead performance evaluations and coach managers on staff development.
  • Policy Management: Develop, communicate, and enforce HR policies across the organization.
  • Employee Engagement: Promote a positive workplace culture through recognition and wellness programs.
  • Financial Management: Recommend cost-effective HR strategies aligned with financial goals.

 

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field. SHRM/HRCI certification preferred.
  • Experience: 5+ years of senior HR experience, including expertise in payroll, benefits, compliance, and strategic HR management.
  • Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of HR laws, compensation, employee benefits, and performance management.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
    • Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
    • Experience with HRIS and payroll software.
