Your Role and Responsibilities
Job Summary:
This position will work with Business Development Managers to support the development and execution of the portfolio strategy for Coastal.
Job Description:
- Qualify new prospects in new accounts
- Partner with sales and marketing to ensure outreach campaign messaging is aligned with prospect's business segment and with persona(s) who would value the platform, that follow up of such campaigns is timely and effective at qualifying prospects
- Effectively communicate with decision makers of different types within the oil & gas industry
- Consistently improving and striving for success in achieving or exceeding sales targets
- Attend conferences and other trade shows to generate sales opportunities in person
- Effectively communicate with influential professionals in various disciplines within the energy industry.
- Liaise with suppliers in the supply chain to understand USP and application specifics of portfolio
- Build technical business cases for products and solutions provided to the market.
- Coordinate the provision of technical expertise for a sales project to be launched.
- Discuss and clarify with customers specific technical solutions and launch specifications to organization.
- Liaise with involved laboratories, Product Management and Sales to create the best solution for the customer.
- Ensure appropriate data administration and documentation of all business cases in Sales Force system.
- Attend regional/International or internal technical meetings, as required.
- Related duties, as assigned.
Your Profile
Education and Experience:
- Bachelors degree preferred
- 3+ years of experience in a business development or commercial role
- 5+ years of experience in Oil & Gas industry
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Strong relationship skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with others. Better than average written and spoken communication skills.
