While working as our Facilities Maintenance Technician, you earn a competitive hourly pay between $20-$22 an hour.

YOUR DAY AS A FACILITIES MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

A typical day in the life of a Facilities Maintenance Technician at our cosmetology school starts with you reviewing a thorough checklist to ensure that all safety requirements are met. As the morning unfolds, you assess the aesthetics of the space, looking for anything that needs fixing or maintenance. If something is broken, you roll up your sleeves and get to work, whether it's a leaky faucet or a malfunctioning light. You also spend time building relationships with outside contractors, like those specializing in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical work, coordinating any necessary services. Throughout the day, you manage inventory, ensuring that you receive supplies from vendors and store them properly for efficient access. It's a blend of hands-on work and communication, all aimed at maintaining a safe and welcoming environment at the beauty school.
