About Us: The CommonWealth Purchasing Group (CPG) was founded in 1998 by the Massachusetts League of Community Health Centers. CPG is a group purchasing organization (GPO) established to address economic issues facing health centers and nonprofit community service organizations. Today, with more than 650 member organizations across 47 states, CPG negotiates deep discounts and significant savings opportunities. Position Summary: The Data and Reporting Analyst is responsible for managing CPG's vendor sales and administrative fee revenue reporting. This role focuses on ensuring timely, accurate, and comprehensive data tracking and reporting in Salesforce and related systems. The Analyst will provide actionable insights to CPG leadership, finance, and the MRC/business development teams to support decision-making, identify trends, and improve revenue performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update CPG's Salesforce vendor and membership databases with accurate sales and revenue data.
- Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and revenue reports for internal use and leadership review.
- Analyze trends in vendor sales performance and administrative fee revenue, highlighting risks and opportunities.
- Partner with the Mass League finance team to reconcile revenue reporting and ensure accuracy.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and performance tracking tools to monitor sales and revenue growth.
- Support CPG leadership with ad hoc reporting and data analysis requests.
- Ensure data integrity across systems and recommend process improvements for reporting accuracy.
- Research and implement new reporting tools or methods to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Track new and existing vendor contracts and communicate regularly with them.
- Gain a clear understanding of nonprofit and Community Health Centers' businesses and requirements.
- Attend internal and external meetings, conferences and trade shows as assigned.
- Lead assigned ad hoc projects as they develop.

- Represent CPG at meetings, with members and on policy issues
- Development of new services, programs, products or affiliations
- Provide business planning guidance to senior management
- Contribute to upgrading of personnel policies and job descriptions

Key Qualifications:
- Education
- Bachelor's Degree required (preferably in Business, Finance/Accounting Data Analytics, or a related field).
- Experience
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in data analysis, financial reporting, or business analytics.
- Experience with CRM platforms, preferably Salesforce.
- Background in healthcare, group purchasing, or nonprofit environments a plus.
- Skills
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and interpret large data sets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data visualization).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with ability to present data clearly.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under deadlines.
- Comfort with translating data into insights for both financial and non-financial audiences.
- Physical
- Most time spent sitting; manual dexterity required for typing and database work.
- Occasional travel to meetings and conferences as needed.

- Ability to analyze and interpret complex financial data.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and handling multiple reporting cycles.
- Office-based role in a climate-controlled environment.
