Are you energized by keeping complex schedules on track, juggling high-priority details, and creating order behind the scenes? Avesta Housing is looking for a resourceful and detail-driven professional to support our President & CEO in close coordination with the Chief of Staff.


As Executive Assistant, you’ll be the steady hand that keeps our executive office running smoothly. From orchestrating calendars and preparing meeting materials to coordinating board logistics and facilitating professional communications, your work will help unlock time and focus for leadership to advance Avesta’s mission.

What We're Looking For

The person who is ready for this opportunity will generally offer these attributes:

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience supporting senior executives and/or working in operations or office administration.
  • Experience managing complex schedules, coordinating meetings and events, and preparing executive-level communications.
  • Experience handling confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams), Asana, and Zoom; ability to learn and use donor and project management databases.

This is a full-time (37.5 hours/week) salaried position, and the annual salary offer will range $57,000 - $65,000.



Work Location 

This position will be in-person at Avesta’s Portland, Maine headquarters.
