POSITION SUMMARY

Serves as physician's clerical and clinical support to ensure the delivery of quality patient care.


Essential Functions Statement(s)

  • Assists physician in clinic with patient care  
  • Answers and responds appropriately to caller's needs to include calling in prescriptions as directed by the physician  
  • Manages all physician's written and electronic materials and maintains patient charts 
  • Manages physician calendar  
  • Performs other related duties as assigned  


SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required

Experience: 2 years of experience in a healthcare environment required. Must be able to sit for and pass A-BROE certification. 1 year of clerical experience required

Computer Skills: Must be computer literate. Intermediate computer skills are required.
