The Onsite Representative is responsible for optimizing efforts to service clients in a high-quality, cost-effective manner through recruiting, interviewing, hiring, placing and managing temporary employees. Acts as a liaison between Doherty, the employee and the client. Builds relationships at all levels within client organization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Interviews, hires and places the most qualified temporary employees to meet current and future client demands.
- Ensures all paperwork conforms to company policies as it pertains to Doherty compliance practices.
- Coordinates and schedules pre-employment drug testing, background checks and physicals as required by the client.
- Conducts orientations and, if applicable, provides check-in support for temporary employees.
- Completes timekeeping, wage deductions and payroll process of temporary employees for reporting to the Doherty Payroll Department.
- Facilitates performance evaluations and exit interviews on the temporary staff; coaches and disciplines as appropriate.
- Uses the Internet as a resource to post all jobs according to the standardized templates, as well as to recruit qualified candidates via resume searches. Ensures all job orders are reflected correctly in CRM.
- Provides necessary and requested data/reports to client in a timely manner.
- Maintains, manages and oversees the process for all necessary PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) for temporary employees.
- Monitors and communicates temporary employee legal issues, including illegal harassments, suspensions and non-business like conduct /behavior to DSS Headquarters and ccs manager.
- Completes injury report and conducts accident investigations. Completes daily and/or weekly safety audits. Communicates appropriately to the Safety Department and ccs manager.
- Other duties may be assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Bilingual Spanish and English candidates highly encouraged to apply
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Outlook and Excel.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Associate’s degree or equivalent experience and/or 1-2 years of related work experience.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Up to 5% travel for training purposes.
