Job Summary
Moroch is seeking to hire an Ad Operations Specialist to support execution of paid media advertising campaigns (including video, display, audio and native) for their clients. This person will be in a primary support role for the Ad Operations team and integrated in the daily execution of client accounts. The goal for this position is to both support the larger Ad Ops team in achieving and exceeding client goals in campaign management, but to also own and deliver consistently effective quality assurance in the trafficking process.
The ideal candidate for this position is someone with experience working daily in Google Campaign Manager across multiple campaigns and media channels. They are adept in building and updating campaigns, troubleshooting tags, and managing creative review for trafficking.
The Ad Operations Specialist would report into the Ad Operations Manager.
Responsibilities
- Supports ongoing and day-to-day ad trafficking and ad server set up across multiple accounts, including campaign creation/updates, creative uploads and rotational updates, and providing vendor access
- Assists in coordination of large collections of assets and deliverables and preps them for ad server uploads.
- Serves as primary and first-tier source for quality assurance and troubleshooting with thorough analyses of creative assets and third-party ad tags and provides expedient resolutions to ad delivery and technical issues with recommendations on streamlining ongoing processes.
- Ensures the launch and tracking of campaign placements and performance measurement tech and actively works to resolve or escalate any known issues.
- Aids media vendors with any ad server tag implementation issues and/or access.
- Manages the collection of screenshots and proof of performance as requested.
- Collaborates closely with internal departments and external partners to ensure accurate campaign set up and execution.
- Works as a part of the larger Ad Ops team, supporting day-to-day communication with team, vendors and clients, and participates in team meetings and brainstorms.
- Stays abreast of new ad tech and industry news and advancements that affect ad operations and the platforms used.
Qualifications

- 2+ years’ experience in ad operations, campaign management, project management, or other operational role in the digital advertising industry, preferably agency-side.
- Demonstrated use and knowledge of Google Campaign Manager 360, including building campaigns using the bulk import function, reviewing assets for compatibility, IAS integration, and other steps critical to the ad trafficking process.
- Foundational knowledge of Google Tag Manager and general tag management processes, including the ability to QA tags and identify or confirm site placement (through GTM and/or browser extensions).
- Understanding of multi-channel digital media, including site-direct, programmatic and broadcast trafficking ecosystems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Powerpoint) with intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
- High degree of organization and exceptional attention to detail, with must-have ability to multitask and display efficient time management in a fast-paced, high-volume, and deadline-driven environment.
- Excellently skilled at approaching problem solving with a critical lens.
- Excels in working independently while understanding how their work is integral to the success of the team.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Affinity and ease for learning new skills and onboarding new ad tech tools and processes.
- Experience in campaign execution for cooperative marketing models is a major plus.
Special Position Requirements
- This position is preferred to be local in the Dallas, TX area, but we are open to considering remote employees. Local and remote employees will be expected to travel for internal or client meetings up to 10% of the time.
