About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Data Product Management Consultant in the Data Analytics and Reporting (DAR) organization that is a part of the Global Operations division of the Chief Operating Office. This position will operate within the contact center data, reporting, and analytics product and will contribute to the design, build, deploy, and operations of a contact center data product on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

In this role, you will:

  • Lead data product initiatives – Lead or participate in moderately complex data product initiatives and deliverables and contribute to large-scale planning related to driving data enablement and capabilities across multiple platforms and utilities

  • Analyze data product challenges – Review and analyze moderately complex data product challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors to drive data enablement strategies and roadmaps

  • Resolve issues and lead deliverables – Independently resolve moderately complex data product issues and lead team to meet data product deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of data, analytics, and integration needs of line of business partners that impact prioritization, roadmap, and architecture design

  • Collaborate across teams – Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to ensure data product solutions are built for optimal performance and design analytics applications across multiple platforms, resolve data product issues, and achieve goals; may lead projects, teams or serve as a mentor for lower-level staff

  • Contribute to business processes – Provide input on new use case intake, prioritization, product roadmap definition, and other critical business processes

  • Manage datasets with governance – Manage moderately complex datasets continuously focusing on the consumers of the data and their business needs, while adhering to set data governance and standards

  • Maintain documentation and roadmaps – Create and maintain data product roadmaps and documentation throughout the data product life cycle with detailed specifications, requirements, and flows for data capabilities

  • Serve as cross-functional liaison – Serve as a liaison between data management, product teams, data engineering, and architecture teams throughout the data product life cycle

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of data product or data management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Product ownership experience – Experience as a product owner of data applications or assets

  • Enterprise data experience – Experience with large enterprise data initiatives

  • Contact center expertise – Contact center business or technology experience

  • Big data and cloud proficiency – Experience implementing or utilizing big data and/or cloud-based data environments (Hadoop, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, etc.)

  • Business intelligence (BI) tool development – Development experience with common BI Tools (Tableau, Power BI, Google Looker, etc.)

  • Agile workflow tool experience – Experience in Jira, or other agile workflow tools.
     

Job Expectations:

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time, once a quarter for team meetings.
  • Hybrid work schedule. Must be able to work from one of the approved job posting locations at least three (3) days in office 2 days remote.
