About the role:
The Port Isolation team is currently seeking a Coordinator Permit to join them on a 7/7 Days and Nights Roster based at Port Hedland. Reporting to the Supervisor Isolation, you will coordinate plant isolation and permitting for both Production and Maintenance teams to ensure positive isolation of plant, correct application of permitting procedures and minimising processing plant downtime.
Duties:
- Coordination of permits and isolation equipment in accordance with operational procedures and in advance of shutdowns
- Developing isolation plans, statements and strategies for isolation at the Port
- Providing on the job coaching and mentoring to all personnel conducting activities within the isolations and permit to work processes
- Developing and maintaining documents, registers and trackers
Skills and Experience:
- High level knowledge of isolation and permit procedures
- Experience working within an electrical trade (desired)
- Understanding or experience with the operation of fixed plant assets in the resources sector
- Strong understanding of SAP, or a similar system, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs
- A current WA C class drivers licence
