We are currently seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to join our dynamic team at our Revesby site, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our plant operations.
About the Role
As the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading the mechanical maintenance team and coordinating contractor and service provider activities to ensure our operations run safely, smoothly, and efficiently. You'll combine strategic maintenance planning with hands-on leadership, helping to optimise asset reliability, minimise downtime, and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage short- to medium-term maintenance schedules via MEX.
- Coordinate resources, materials, and tooling for efficient task execution.
- Monitor progress, respond to unplanned downtime, and maintain accurate records.
- Oversee external contractors and service providers, ensuring adherence to site safety and quality standards.
- Manage contractor permitting, performance, and communication.
- Provide day-to-day supervision and technical guidance to the mechanical maintenance team.
- Lead by example in safety, quality, and professional standards.
- Mentor team members and support incident investigations and equipment troubleshooting.
About You
You’re a hands-on leader with a strong background in mechanical maintenance, planning, and contractor management. You thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and are passionate about continuous improvement and building a high-performing team.
To be successful, you will have:
- A relevant trade qualification in mechanical or maintenance engineering.
- Proven experience in maintenance planning in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of inventory management and scheduling.
- Leadership experience with a focus on safety, quality, and operational efficiency.
- Proficiency with MEX or similar CMMS tools.
- Experience with contractor permitting and external service management.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
