Senior Commercial Analyst - Healthcare
Global Logistics provides sophisticated supply chain solutions, from end-to-end or part solutions, warehousing and distribution to dedicated transport solutions, across the globe and to some of the most remote corners of the world.
Government & Defence provides specialised logistics expertise. We work with clients at all levels of government to deliver an extremely diverse range of logistics solutions - from the distribution of healthcare products, managing the relocation of their employees, delivering fleets of government vehicles, through to helicopter rescue services.
The Role
Join a high-impact role where financial insight meets strategic influence. As the Senior Commercial Analyst – Healthcare, you will be instrumental in driving financial management and commercial risk strategies that enhance contract performance and customer satisfaction. Through strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration, you’ll lead the delivery of business-as-usual processes and strategic projects, guiding team members to improve operational outcomes, optimise revenue and cost management, and refine executive reporting. This role serves as a key advisor across the Healthcare business, shaping decisions that support long-term success.
To be successful as a Senior Commercial Analyst, you will need to:
- Partner with Commercial, Finance, and Operations teams to coordinate commercial management activities and provide internal stakeholders with expert commercial insights for major Healthcare contracts.
- Support month-end processes by reviewing cost centre P&Ls, contributing to performance commentaries, and analysing commercial data to inform decision-making.
- Document and validate business requirements, identify risks and benefits of proposed solutions, and assess their impact on operations.
- Deliver customer-facing reporting, including invoicing, KPI support, and performance reports, while engaging directly with customers to ensure accurate forecasting.
- Lead the development of financial models and scenario analyses and assist in resolving commercial disputes for major contracts.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, participate in performance reviews, and support additional tasks aligned with team objectives and capabilities.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Business or a related field
Skills and Experience
- Demonstrated experience in a Commercial or Finance role within a Warehousing and Logistics environment, with sound accounting knowledge and a strong understanding of internal commercial controls.
- Proven ability to think logically and solve complex commercial problems, supported by strong organisational skills and a structured approach to work.
- Effective stakeholder management and third-party negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships both internally and externally.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modelling, enabling the development of robust analytical outputs.
- Willingness to travel within Australia as required to support business needs.
- Capable of contributing to a commercially focused team through analytical thinking, structured problem-solving, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
