Key Responsibilities
- Strong Knowledge of Motor Manufacturing Processes (Winding, Varnishing, Machining, Assembly etc)
- Co-ordinate & work with cross functional teams, contractors & vendors for successful installation of new plant & equipment
- Conduct the line trials, Implement & work-thru new processes to set-up a new production line
- Reading drawings, test reports, quality documents & set the processes to achieve the mentioned requirements of documents
- Perform PFMEA, GRR Test for new processes & machines, take corrective action to improve the outcomes
- Detect, Measure & Analyse the findings in production and take the corrective action to improve the outcomes
- Work to achieve target of 100% First Pass Yield in all production processes
- Ensure Implementation of ECN & CAPA
- Train worker staff for new processes & proper operations of new equipment
- Active participation in Safe Launch of Product
- Perform Time Study in production operations
- Work to achieve >85% productivity in production
- Promote KAIZEN, 5S philosophy & ensure implementation in production
- Control Quality Systems, ISO Systems, PPEs & Safety Standards at all lines
- Shop Loading, Supervision & report daily production status to management
- Manage & motivate team of more than 50+ Head counts (Operators & Worker staff)
- Work hand in hand with Planning, Purchase & Quality team to ensure smooth execution of monthly production plan & targets
- Ensures that the facility equipment and machines are maintained & working properly
- Active Participation & Face the period audits of IPQ (In-Process Quality), 5S & ISO standards
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Strong knowledge of production processes, lean manufacturing, and quality control.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 7 - 10 years of experience in production engineering, preferably in the manufacturing of submersible pumps and motors
