About the Role
As a Graduate in Swiss Re's Investor Relations team, you'll dive into the fascinating intersection of finance, communication, and strategy. Over 18 months, you'll develop expertise in translating complex financial information into compelling narratives that drive investor confidence and understanding.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and prepare external presentations and materials that clearly explain our financial performance to investors and analysts
- Collaborate across different business areas to gather insights and create cohesive financial narratives
- Support the planning, organization, and delivery of our high-profile annual Investors' Day
- Conduct in-depth research on investor perceptions, peer performance, market trends, and share price developments
- Prepare internal reports to keep senior leadership informed of market developments
- Assist in responding to inquiries from investors and analysts about our financial performance and strategy
- Participate in investor meetings, roadshows, and conferences alongside senior executives
About the Team
As part of our Investor Relations team, you will be at the heart of how we communicate our strategy and performance to the investor and analyst community. You will support the team in engaging with investors and analysts, helping them understand Swiss Re's results, outlook, and key priorities. The role offers frequent exposure to senior leadership, whether by attending investor meetings or supporting roadshows and conferences alongside senior executives. It's a great opportunity to gain deep insights into how a global reinsurer is valued, and to be closely involved in the conversations that shape investor perceptions.
About You
You're a curious, analytical thinker with a passion for financial markets and excellent communication skills. You thrive in fast-paced environments, can translate complex concepts into clear messages, and are eager to learn about the reinsurance industry from the ground up. Your attention to detail and ability to work with confidential information make you a trusted team member.
We are looking for candidates who meet these requirements:
- Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree (preferably in Finance or Economics) with up to 3 years of professional experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in teams and perform under pressure
- Keen interest in and motivation to learn about re/insurance and financial markets
These are additional nice to haves:
- Additional language proficiency, particularly German
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
- Previous internship or work experience in insurance or financial services
- Experience with financial analysis or investor communications
The base salary range for this position will be shared with you during the interview process.
