Through our exemplary teamwork and collaboration, we have maintained an exceptional reputation throughout the hospital. When the novel coronavirus pandemic began in 2020 and a dedicated COVID-19 medical-surgical unit was needed, the first choice by senior leadership was 10 Tower. This has been a challenge that we have met with open arms and open minds. Throughout this experience, 10 Tower staff is now regarded as the content experts for COVID-19 patients. We have gained hands-on experience on materials and conditions that have made our staff even more versatile and invaluable to Atrium Health.
10T Medical Telemetry is a recipient of the PRISM award (Premier Recognition in the Specialty of Med/Surg) from the Academy of Medical/Surgical Nurses, given to outstanding acute care or med/surg units or adult/pediatric units classified as med/surg.
