Company Description:

Informa is a leading academic publishing, business intelligence, knowledge, and events business, creating unique content and connectivity for customers worldwide. It is listed on the London Stock Exchange and is a member of the FTSE 100.

Taylor & Francis is one of the world’s largest publishers of high-quality, peer-reviewed scholarly journals, books, e-books, and reference works. We empower learners, thinkers and doers with trusted knowledge that advances research and enriches lives. We bring together diverse people, ideas, and opinions to validate and publish the experts, theories and truths that matter. And we’ve been doing this in an unbroken arc since 1798.

Our purpose is to foster human progress through knowledge.  We strongly believe that this requires us to encourage and examine different ideas and voices so that any work that meets our exacting levels of quality deserves to be included in our publications. This requires open minds, the opportunity for robust debate, and the courage to defend perspectives that stand up to scrutiny, even if they conflict with our personal beliefs or values. Because that’s the only way to find the best obtainable version of the truth and, ultimately, foster human progress. If you agree, then we’d love to hear from you.

Qualifications:

What you will be doing:

  • Leading the partnership with hiring managers to develop effective recruitment plans for candidate attraction, including creation of compelling job adverts and designing assessment methods
  • Working strategically with People Team colleagues across our global offices to provide senior-level recruitment assistance and resolve complex challenges in candidate sourcing
  • Conducting and leading interviews with managers across the global business for key roles and senior hires
  • Driving the delivery of the global recruitment process, and educating managers in best practice recruitment approaches
  • Identifying and implementing opportunities for combined resourcing activities across the business when there are multiple roles of a similar nature
  • Actively championing diversity in our talent pipeline by seeking a diverse range of candidates and promoting accessible methods of assessment, collaborating with the internal DE&I team and external diversity partnerships
  • Ensuring all recruitment advertising is strategically positioned and adheres to appropriate legislation and company policy, with oversight on selection tools and processes
  • Leading our recruitment messaging and brand promotion across social media channels to increase candidate attraction, and upskilling line managers on social media use in recruitment
  • Providing strategic guidance and support to the global TA team on recruitment projects and initiatives

What we are looking for:

  • Extensive experience of partnering with senior business stakeholders to support strategic recruitment activities
  • Comprehensive global knowledge of recruitment practices with the ability to adapt approaches for different markets
  • Advanced knowledge of recruitment best practice on interviews and assessment, alongside thorough understanding of HR legislation pertinent to recruitment activities
  • Proficient knowledge and experience of HRIS/ATS systems with the ability to optimise their use
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels
  • Strategic problem-solving abilities with a continuous improvement approach
  • Outstanding time management skills to balance competing demands while meeting critical deadlines
  • Demonstrable experience of building and maintaining relationships with senior stakeholders to drive recruitment excellence
  • Experience in maintaining high levels of data integrity
  • Demonstrated capability to mentor and guide team members in tech recruitment strategies, including specialised sourcing techniques for Product and Technology roles and understanding of technical skill assessment

This senior role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on our global talent acquisition strategy while working with diverse stakeholders across our international business.
