Are you ready to take the lead in financial analysis and modeling while being part of a dynamic and energetic Business Development team? As our new Sr Financial Analyst (Controller, PBL), you will take the lead in business control activities for one of our largest contracts, driving financial analysis, forecasting, and performance modelling to support strategic decision-making and ensure accurate financial reporting. 

 

This role is open to candidates located in Puerto Rico and Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

 

As a Sr Financial Analyst (Controller PBL), you will:

 

  • Lead financial analysis and modeling to support project sales

  • Educate and mentor young talents within the team

  • Continuously monitor revenue and cost estimates, revising them as needed

  • Own monthly financial analytics, closing, and reporting

  • Create and manage reports and dashboards for data analysis

  • Improve estimate accuracy and ensure quality through internal audits

  • Use and develop tools to deliver standard and ad hoc reporting for business reviews and planning

  • Prepare annual budgets and set financial targets

  • Identify financial risks and opportunities in your assigned installations

  • Monitor contract structures and guide your team to stay aligned

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and brand teams to gather data and improve KPIs

  • Challenge Contract Managers and Brands to meet sales and profitability goals

  • Drive cost-saving initiatives and support both internal and external audits

  • Assist the Controller with financial analysis and ad-hoc reporting

  • Work closely with the Management Team to deliver expected results

 

What You Bring to the Table

 

To succeed in this role, you should have:

 

  • A Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Accounting or Finance

  • 5+ years of experience in Accounting/Finance

  • Experience in Marine Contracts (a plus!)

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

  • A sharp eye for detail and excellent follow-through

  • A results-driven mindset and big-picture thinking

  • The ability to work independently and persevere through challenges

  • Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal

  • High integrity and strong time management

  • A commitment to delivering results under tight deadlines

  • Proficiency in SAP, Estimo, QlikView, QlikSense, Power BI, and MS Office tools
