Responsibilities:As an Assistant Front Office Manager, you will be responsible for all operational duties of the Front Office, including management of the guest services, registration, and overnight staff; delivery of quality customer service and resolution of guest issues, while maximizing room revenue and occupancy.
You will also handle supervisory administrative duties such as scheduling staff, payroll approval, interviewing and hiring, training, performance reviews, coaching and disciplining. You will conduct daily pre-shift, communication and one-on-one meetings and coordinating activities with other departments.
This position is fully committed to ensuring that all procedures are performed to the department and company standards and serve as an ambassador for the hotel.
Qualifications:
Having a Bachelors Degree is a plus but not required, though a High School Diploma or GED is necessary. (Or any combination of academic education, professional training or work experience, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position).
You will need at least 3 years of experience in hotel, resort or destination spa or related field and 1 year of experience in front office leadership position.
The position is hands-on and requires someone who is organized with sharp attention to detail. Excellent guest relation and communication skills are essential.
Position requires a clean drivers record and may be required to transport guests.
