Job Title: Receiving Inspector
Location: Metalforms, Beaumont, TX

Job Summary:
The Receiving Inspector will unload, inspect, process and deliver material received as directed by the Material Manager. It is imperative that all material inspection and documentation processes are performed correctly. Additional responsibilities will include monitoring inventory levels, performing year-end inventory, packing and shipping orders, and assisting in others areas as directed.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receive, process and distribute all paperwork associated with the delivery of incoming goods and materials.
- Stock, retrieve, distribute and inventory warehouse consumables.
- Interact with delivery personnel as well as company personnel.
- Perform Inspection of incoming materials.
- Unloading of delivery trucks utilizing forklifts and overhead cranes.
- Identify material issues and work with the Material Manager to resolve them.
Competencies:
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate and work with a team.
- Knowledge of materials and products used in a fabrication shop.
- Knowledge of Material Traceability Reports
- This position is a mixture of office work and physical shop work.
- Frequent bending, squatting, climbing (less than 5 feet), and lifting (up to 50lb) is required.
Education/Experience:
- College Preferred
- Computer usage skills
- 2 years of applicable experience in Logistics / Supply Chain Management or Quality Control
- Ability to identify and resolve problems quickly and effectively
