Member Sales Acquisition Specialist

About Us

At How to Manage a Small Law Firm (HTM), we help entrepreneurial law firm owners build profitable, sustainable businesses that allow them to reclaim their time and thrive. Thousands of attorneys have transformed their practices with our coaching, consulting, and membership community — and we’re just getting started.

We are seeking a Member Sales Specialist who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment and is excited by the opportunity to help law firm owners change their lives.

Role Overview

As a Member Sales Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for prospective members and a trusted resource for current and former members. You’ll connect with attorneys nationwide, build relationships, and guide them toward the right HTM resources, programs, and community support.

This role is ideal for someone who is a strong communicator, naturally curious, highly organized, and motivated by meaningful sales goals. You’ll have the opportunity to grow into a Sales Advisor role, directly guiding our members on their entrepreneurial journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Make 40 hours of high-quality outreach calls weekly to current, former, and prospective members.

  • Connect with 20–30 law firm owners per week, listening actively to understand their goals, challenges, and pain points.

  • Generate referrals, new member leads, and support the sales pipeline through consistent follow-up.

  • Leverage HTM’s content library, case studies, and resources to engage and educate prospective members.

  • Manage and track pipeline activities using CRM software, maintaining detailed notes and follow-up tasks.

  • Support membership growth goals by generating 40–50 new members per year.

  • Attend quarterly live events and sales workshops to build relationships and close new business.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 3+ years in sales, business development, or customer success (professional services or membership sales preferred).

  • Proven ability to thrive in high-volume, goal-driven environments.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust quickly.

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Proficiency with CRM tools and pipeline management.

  • Growth mindset with a desire to develop into a Sales Advisor role.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required with relevant experience.

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.

Travel

  • Occasional travel required for quarterly conferences and live sales events.

Career Growth

This role is a stepping stone to becoming a Sales Advisor within HTM. As a Sales Advisor, you’ll work directly with our members to guide their growth journeys, deepen relationships, and have an even greater impact on their success.

At this time we are only able to hire new employees in the following states, AZ, CO, FL, GA, IL, MD, MI, NC, NJ, NY, PA, TX, VA, WA.
