Do you have a passion for critical care? If so, we have the role for you! We are looking for a compassionate & flexible Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our ICU team. In this role, our APRN or PA will work closely with our Physician Residents to co-manage an average daily census of 8-10 Medical ICU patients. In addition to managing admitted ICU patients, this APRN or PA will oversee new ICU admissions in our Emergency Department as well as respond house-wide to all internal medical codes. Our Nurse Practitioners & Physician Assistants provide supervision and mentorship to our clinical personnel, as well as serve as a resource to both staff and management in problem identification and resolution.
Full-time: 13-hour shifts. Night shift (7p-8a).

Qualifications
For PA candidates:
B.A./B.S. and completion of 2 years accredited P.A. training program.
Current NCCPA certification required.
A PA license in the state of CT prior to start date is required.
Previous experience in an ICU or Emergency Department required.
For APRN candidates:
Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of CT
A Master’s degree is required for entry level practice.
An APRN license in the state of CT prior to start date is required.
