The Marketing Technology (MarTech) Operations, Strategic Team Lead will be part of the exciting MarTech
team which is responsible for the technical creation and evolution of customer messaging at J.Crew Group-
from email, to SMS, to journey-building experiences across multiple consumer-facing touchpoints. This Team
lead will work closely with the Manager of the MarTech Ops team to better operationalize the tactical needs of
the business / merchants / analytics, and product teams across all three brands.
In addition to being closer to the day-to-day operations of the MarTech Ops Operational activities, the
MarTech Ops Team Lead will dedicate special focus to projects that fall under more long-term scope
requirements. Some of these projects will include partnering with our more technical dev peers who specialize
in Salesforce Marketing Cloud solution architecting. These projects include cloud pages to increase customer
acquisition, and upcoming campaign awareness (e.g. Lookbook collections). This will also include partnering
with our digital marketing business peers and developing varying long term lifecycle customer journeys.
The daily operations of the MarTech team include partnering closely with the business teams on prioritization
and overall strategy, as well as with engineering and our third-party provider, Salesforce, on technical and
configuration setup and execution. This team supports all emails (batch and blast, triggered, and transactional)
as well as mobile (SMS and push notifications).
