About the role 🖥️
Vestiaire Collective is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Digital Authentication Associate to ensure the authenticity and accuracy of luxury goods listed on our platform.
You will be responsible for reviewing item images/pictures and descriptions, identifying counterfeit products, and maintaining our commitment to offering only genuine merchandise to our customers.

We are recruiting for a 6 month fixed-term contract (CDD), in 35h or 25h, based in Paris and reporting to the Digital Authentication Team Leader.

Hours of work:
For 35h contract: Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm. In the office, and working from home on Thursday + Friday.
For 25h contract: Tuesday to Friday from 5pm to 9pm + Saturday 9am to 5pm. Fully working from home.

1 Month Training period for both positions from: Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm.


What you'll do 👜
  • Analyze images and descriptions of high-end items such as handbags, jewelry, apparel, and footwear to verify authenticity.
  • Identify telltale signs of non-original items, including discrepancies in craftsmanship, logos, serial numbers, and materials.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of trends and best practices in counterfeit detection for major luxury brands.
  • Collaborate with sellers to request additional photos or information when necessary to complete authentication.
  • Ensure a permanent watch to update its technical knowledge (trends, Houses, collections, fashion shows...) and share it with the team
  • Be part in all trainings in order to update and maintain the authentication knowledge

  • Profile :

  • Coming from a specialized Training In Fashion-Luxury you have a first experience in a fashion environment (e.g. design, auctions, store / designer, crafts)
  • You have a strong sensitivity product, materials, an "eye"
  • You have a knowledge of fashion and luxury: actors, history, materials
  • You have a strong interest, which you maintain, for Fashion including vintage, jewelry and accessories (second hand, a plus)
  • Agility is an essential quality to support us in our development and the constant evolution of our processes
  • You speak and write French (fluently) & English (basics of technical fashion vocabulary)
  • You are passionate, curious, meticulous
