Summary: 

PlanITROI is seeking an experienced Shipping Associate to execute all aspects of outgoing shipments in a fast-paced warehouse and fulfillment environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately pulling, packing, labeling, and preparing orders to meet strict daily shipping deadlines with carriers such as FedEx, UPS, and USPS.

 

This role requires strong attention to detail to ensure proper packaging, accurate documentation, and compliance with company standards for both domestic and international shipments. The Shipping Associate will maintain shipping records, track orders, update inventory systems, and manage shipping supplies while upholding OSHA safety standards and maintaining a clean, organized workspace. Candidates must bring at least three years of shipping experience, proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook, and the ability to thrive in a highly accountable environment.

 

Full Time: Monday – Friday

Hours: 07:00 AM to 03:30 PM 

 

Primary Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Execute daily shipping operations, ensuring all outgoing orders are processed accurately and on time.
  • Pull, pack, label, and prepare products according to order specifications and company standards.
  • Assist in the intake, prep, and packing of all outgoing items to meet the daily FedEx, UPS & USPS pick-up and drop-off deadlines.
  • Assemble and prepare cartons, packages, and boxes for outgoing shipments.
  • Ensure proper packaging of items, including delicate products, to prevent damage during transit.
  • Verify product quantities, types, and serial numbers against picking lists or orders.
  • Inspect outbound products and perform final quality checks before shipment.
  • Generate and affix shipping labels, packing slips, bills of lading, and other required documentation.
  • Ensure all documentation is accurate and complete for domestic and international shipments.
  • Maintain accurate shipping records, track outgoing orders, and provide updates as needed.
  • Identify, document, and report shipment discrepancies, damages, or issues.
  • Update inventory databases and Excel spreadsheet reporting low-stock inventory items promptly.
  • Organize and maintain the shipping area, ensuring materials and packed goods are stored efficiently, restocking shipping supplies as needed
  • Conduct regular inventory checks of shipping & packing materials (boxes, tape, labels, etc.) and report needs to management
  • Adhere to OSHA standards, company policies, and safety regulations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support warehouse operations.

 

Qualifications & Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 3 years of shipping experience in an eCommerce fulfillment warehouse environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, including Excel and Outlook.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must have reliable transportation

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly
  • Prolonged standing, walking, bending, and repetitive motion as required in warehouse operations
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically active environment.
