Our Opportunity

GPJ is hiring a Senior Manager, Logistics to join our growing team!

This role is on-site, requiring you to report to our Las Vegas, NV office location a minimum of 5 days per week.

Your Role

As the Senior Manager of Logistics, you will be managing the daily warehousing operations within your specific location. Depending on your location, this may be at an off-site warehouse and/or shop facility with Union or Non-Union personnel. Within this role, you will also be responsible for managing the warehouse facility for maximum capacity utilization.

In this role, you will also be responsible for estimating storage requirements and charges for new GPJ clients. This will include overseeing, reviewing and updating specific client storage charge changes and reporting those changes to the Account Teams and Accounting department. Other tasks consist of coordinating local pick-ups and deliveries, maintenance of monthly transportation handling and warehouse storage reports and overseeing the GPJ Transportation 3 Bid process. Travel to show site and handle inbound/outbound logistics if required.

Your Experience

Experience & Education

  • Education. College degree preferred but not mandatory.
  • 10(+) years’ of experience in Warehouse Management and Distribution, Traffic/Logistics Management and Inventory Control
  • Knowledge of GPJ Logistics Department processes and procedures
  • Knowledge of GPJ IGL, XPD8 and Inventory Systems
  • Fluent in Microsoft programs (Excel and Word)

Travel & Mobility

  • Ability to travel 5%
  • Ability to work irregular hours in addition to normal business hours, to include nights, weekends and holidays as needed

Your Impact

Within this position, you will collaborate closely with all internal client personnel, such as Project Managers, Estimators, Engineers and Account Leads.  

You will also work very closely with Union and Non-Union shop personnel and Installation and Dismantle Supervisors.
