This role is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the organization, ensuring the accuracy, transparency, and efficiency of financial activities. This includes managing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, risk management, and financial strategy. This position will work closely with executive leadership to provide financial insights and recommendations that drive business decisions, support organizational growth, and maintain financial health.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The following Receivable/Payable duties and responsibilities are a general overview of the position:

  • Oversee the preparation and presentation of timely and accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and statements of equity, ensuring compliance with accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).
  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, working with departmental leaders to ensure alignment with organizational goals. Monitor financial performance against the budget and adjust forecasts as necessary.
  • Develop and enforce financial policies and procedures to ensure effective internal controls, minimize risk, and maintain compliance with financial regulations, laws, and industry standards.
  • Coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with tax regulations and other statutory requirements.
  • Provide analytical support to senior leadership by evaluating financial performance, analyzing variances, and offering strategic recommendations. Support business decisions through detailed financial analysis and scenario planning.
  • Manage the organization’s cash flow, ensuring adequate liquidity to meet operational needs, while optimizing working capital management and minimizing the cost of capital.
  • Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. This includes managing financial risks related to currency fluctuations, interest rates, investments, and credit.
  • Oversee capital expenditure and investment decisions, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to support business growth and maximize returns.
  • Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing finance team, ensuring that team members are equipped with the skills and knowledge to succeed. Foster a collaborative, results-oriented environment.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes, implement automation tools, and increase efficiency within the finance function.
  • Provide ongoing training and development for the finance team to enhance their skills, keep them up to date with industry trends, and ensure high levels of performance.
  • Work closely with the CEO and other senior management to provide strategic financial insights, business performance reports, and recommendations to support decision-making.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to the board of directors, highlighting key financial performance indicators, risks, opportunities, and strategic recommendations.
  • Assist in managing relationships with investors, lenders, and other financial stakeholders, ensuring clear and consistent communication regarding the organization’s financial position and performance.
  • Ensure the implementation and effective use of financial systems and technologies to improve financial reporting, analysis, and overall efficiency within the finance department.
  • Ensure that financial data is accurate, complete, and properly maintained, utilizing appropriate systems and processes to ensure consistency and compliance.

Requirements

  

Qualifications:

· Must pass all criminal, substance and or financial background checks as requested.

· Must possess a valid class “c” driver’s license and pass Motor Vehicle Report audits.

Education and Experience:

· Certified Public Accountant active license required

· Master of Science in Accounting or closely related field and 4 years of Accountant LLC related experience and at least 5 years of supervisory experience

· 8 years of Accounting Accountant experience, equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 5 years of supervisory experience
