II. Job Summary:
The EHS Environmental Supervisor reports directly to the Assistant EHS Manager, ensuring regulatory environmental regulatory requirements are met a fulfilled. This includes jurisdiction over all Fuyao North American sites under FGA's scope. Environmental topics within this jobs scope are Water Permitting, Air Permitting, DOT, RCRA, ISO 14001 compliance and any other regulatory or customer requirements within the environmental scope. You will lead a team to complete Monthly, Quarterly, Semi-annual, annual reporting requirements. Also will be the lead project coordinator regarding Environmental Objective and planning actions to achieve them. Responsible for monitoring environmental program effectiveness and implementing corrective actions and continuous improvement projects.
 
III. Job Functions and Duties
 
NO.Representative Duties
1Develop and implement company policies, work instructions, procedures to maintain compliance with environmental standards set forth by Regulating bodies, contractual agreements and customers.
2Lead EH&S team members in the execution of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certification efforts. Ensure conformance to polies and procedures developed to ensure the conformance to management system requirements as established in the ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards. Work with top leadership to ensure continual efforts to improve these management systems. 
3Assist management in development and reporting of EHS performance metrics to facilitate continuous, ongoing improvement of the EHS efforts and results.
4Conduct hygiene testing as needed:
 Develop and implement schedule of hygiene sampling list.
 Complete sampling by target date.
 Manage Waste Profiling for all existing Chemicals and any new Chemicals that come into the Plant as needed.
5Oversee Environmental Compliance
 2.1   Complete bi-weekly reports to County Waste Water division.
 2.2   Complete monthly waste water report to County Waste Water division.
 2.3   Complete EPA/DHEC Air Reports as required.
 2.4   Support EPA/DHEC e-drum reporting.
 2.5   Prepare, review, and update environmental investigation reports.
 2.6   Design projects leading to environmental protection, such as water reclamation facilities, air pollution control systems, and operations that convert waste to energy.
 2.7   Obtain, update, and maintain plans, permits, and standard operating procedures.
 2.8   Provide technical support for environmental remediation projects and for legal actions.
 2.9    Analyze scientific data and do quality-control checks.
 2.10 Monitor the progress of environmental improvement programs.
 2.11 Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
 2.12 Track and update annual Environmental Objectives to ensure they are on track to be successful.
 2.13 On a Quarterly basis check for updates on all EPA/DHEC regulations to see if any reporting times or reporting format has changed.                                                                                             
6Participate and 3rd party audits, Conduct and participate in internal and 2nd party audits to ISO, IATF, Customer Specific and other relevant Standards.
7Develop, organize and implement action plans to correct environmental issues as they are discovered.
8Project Management:  Manages, evaluates, and implements appropriate projects that reduce costs, reduces accidents and injuries, and contributes to improved performance of the safety program. 
9Develops and participates in Environmental, Health and Safety initiatives as set forth by the company.
10Lead EH&S Team in development and implementation of Green House Gas Emission calculations and reduction goals.

Job RequirementsLanguageLanguages spoken commonly in the workplace are English.
 Ability to read, understand and comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
 Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
 Ability to speak effectively and interact with other team members, engineers, leadership and customers.
Experience1 to 3 years manufacturing experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
EducationHigh School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
Physical ConditionThe employee is regularly required o stand for long periods.Duties include turning at the waist, reaching, bending, squatting and lifting up to 50 pounds. Ability to pass static strength requirements (grip). Visual acuity including, but not limited to:
 a. NEAR ACUITY - Clarity of vision at 20 inches or less. Use this factor when special and minute accuracy is demanded.
 b. FAR ACUITY - Clarity of vision at 20 feet or more. Use this factor when visual efficiency in terms of far acuity is required in day and night/dark conditions.
 c. DEPTH PERCEPTION - Three-dimensional vision. Ability to judge distances and spatial relationships so as to see objects where and as they actually are.
 d. COLOR VISION - Ability to identify and distinguish colors.
 e. FIELD OF VISION - Observing an area that can be seen up and down or to right or left while eyes are fixed on a given point.
  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Safety requirements for this position are safety glasses, hearing protection and steel-toed work boots.
Other Requirements MATHEMATICAL SKILLS -
 Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
 REASONING ABILITY - Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of  variables.
 COMPUTER SKILLS - Knowledge of and familiarity manufacturing software.

RCRA, OSHA, DOT training certificates, OSHA 30-hour Certification, ISO 14001 Auditor certification. 
Fall protection, confined space, ARC flash
Obtain CPR/AED/First Aid Certification

V. Work Environment:
Bright, clean and well-ventilated office building. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Safety requirements for this position
 are safety glasses and steel-toed work boots.
     
VI. Key Performance Indicators: Evaluates SAA areas and maintains compliance, Weekly Central Accumulation Area Inspections, EHS Project Assignments, ISO 14001 Conformance, Incident Investigation Closure Rate

Must be 18 years of age or older.
