Summary
The Audiovisual (AV) Live Event Technician works closely with Administrative Services, Workplace Services, and IT Technicians to maintain and support video conference systems. Services are typically targeted at conference rooms or meeting centers in support of presentations, video and audio conferencing, streaming video, and web-based collaboration. The Audiovisual (AV) Live Event Technician works closely with Exec Administrative teams, divisional contacts with AV solution implementation needs, Desktop Services Technicians, and AV service providers and vendors to maintain, and support video conference and automated AV systems. Services are typically targeted at conference room solutions or facilitating meeting support for divisional or all company meeting in large conference centers to support presentations, video and audio conferencing, streaming video and web-based collaboration events and activities. Whenever necessary, the AV tech conducts further analysis and testing to determine cause and resolution to technology issues and works with the appropriate individuals if they are not able to resolve themselves. The AV Tech serves as one initial escalation point for AV issues.Responsibilities
✔ Provide pre-meeting and in-meeting support for audio & video systems across the company including special events, board meetings, company, and department meetings and streaming training.

✔ Receive and respond to incoming calls, alerts, messages, and/or e-mails regarding AV troubleshooting, diagnosing, isolating and repairing all AV equipment including but not limited to multimedia systems, meeting rooms, video/data projections systems, conference room sound and microphone systems, video recording/playback cameras, camcorders, monitors, digital white boards, Crestron control panels, etc. Conduct follow-up assessments with key personnel to determine whether expectations were met.

✔ Conduct on-site training and demonstrations for senior leaders, administrative assistants, and other company employees as requested; Develop end-user documentation covering basic use cases for all conference room AV equipment.

✔ Collaborate with Administrative Services, Workplace Services, and other key personnel to develop and enforce proper AV practices and procedures.

✔ Provides supplemental support and back-up coverage for the Sr Event Production Specialist and can perform most of their duties.

✔ Administer web-based collaboration systems by configuring and managing system settings and communications. Test future releases and work with the Sr Event Production Specialist to provide a seamless upgrade and user education
