Digital Consultants is seeking a Cybersecurity Task Lead to provide senior-level technical direction and engineering knowledge for cyber support activities for US Army North, located at Fort Sam Houston, a US Army post in San Antonio, TX.
Duties to include:
- Supervise and lead a Cybersecurity Team providing cyber support for the ARNORTH system.
- Assist the Government P-ISSM to manage the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process using the eMASS Portal, including RMF processes for on-premises, IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS employments.
- Manage the system vulnerability identification and resolution process to support the network accreditation process.
- Manage the ARNORTH enterprise configurations for the Army Endpoint Security Solution (AESS) and any follow-on products.
- Manage the ARNORTH Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) software and any follow-on products.
- Provide routine and ad-hoc scans of ARNORTH networks, analyze the results, and work with the Tier 3 team to implement corrective action.
- Manage the ARNORTH security information and event management (SIEM) software (currently SPLUNK, but potential to transfer to ELASTIC), configuring dashboards and providing routine and ad hoc reports as requested by the COR.
- Work with the other Leads to implement any required corrective action.
Requirements
- Over 10 years of cybersecurity experience.
- Minimum of 4 years’ supervisory experience which includes direct supervision of employees, to include (but not limited to) day to-day task assignment, formal and informal counseling, professional development, annual performance evaluations, and direct control of work hours/paid time off. Note: Leading a team or a project does not count toward bona fide supervisory experience.
- Knowledge of Computer Systems Administration.
- Detailed understanding of the configuration, management, and use of security information and event management (SIEM) software (SPLUNK or Elastic), including properly reacting to SIEM events
- Demonstrated experience with Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS)
- Ability to manage the system vulnerability identification and resolution process to support the network accreditation process.
- Ability to manage Host Based Security System (HBSS) enterprise configurations following the guidance in the DISA HBSS Tier 3 Operations Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures guide.
- Demonstrated experience assisting government P-ISSMs to manage the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process using the eMASS Portal, including the RMF process for on-premises, IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS employment.
- Clearance: Active Top Secret
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in one of the following:
- Computer Science or IT-related field
- Business administration/management
- Technology Management
- Certifications: IAM Level III certification Required (CISSP preferred)
Compensation and Benefits: The salary range for this position is $105,000 to $115,000.
