Electrical Engineer
J.H. Fletcher & Co., a worldwide leader in the manufacture of heavy mobile machinery, has a job opening for an Electrical Engineer at our Huntington, WV facility. This position is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining electrical systems for Fletcher’s mobile equipment, including control panels, wiring diagrams, and circuit layouts. The Electrical Engineer will ensure compliance with industry standards and company specifications while supporting manufacturing operations and field performance through technical expertise.

Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree a plus)
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in the mobile equipment manufacturing industry
• Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD) and simulation tools
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
Preferred:
• Professional Engineer (PE) license
• Experience with programming and control systems
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain electrical systems for Fletcher mobile equipment
• Create and review wiring diagrams, control panels, and circuit layouts
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and company specifications
• Investigate and resolve electrical issues during the manufacturing process or in the field
• Provide technical support to internal teams, vendors, and customers
• Partner with other engineering disciplines and departments to optimize product performance and safety
• Document designs and maintain accurate records of revisions and improvements
• Promote safe work practices and compliance with safety regulations
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor

• Location: 402 High Street, Huntington, WV 25705
• Shift: Full-time, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• Exempt Status: Exempt
