Hi! We’re Thinkingbox. You probably haven’t heard of us yet and that’s okay. We don’t quite exist in London. Not yet. That’s where you come in.
We’re a creative studio. A one-stop shop built by people who’ve been in the trenches at top agencies, production companies, and post houses, winning awards, building brands, and creating work we’re proud of across North America.
But here’s the thing: the old model; agency, production, post. It’s bloated, slow, and disconnected from the joy of making things. We got tired of that. We wanted to get back to that feeling you get when you record a demo in a friend's bedroom. It’s raw, it’s real, and it’s yours. The mix might not be perfect, but the song’s a hit. That’s the spirit we’re bringing to London.
We’re looking for our next Business Development Manager: someone who can move between worlds, from the cultural heat of gaming and entertainment to the polished universe of tech, fashion, and lifestyle.
This isn’t about playing it safe. It’s about rewriting the rules, building brands that feel iconic, and crafting ideas that are as cinematic as they are immersive. You’ll join a crew of designers, strategists, and makers who thrive on curiosity and collaboration, delivering work that feels both effortless and unforgettable.
We’re here to level up the game, cut through the noise, and make brands shine with the same allure as a limited-drop release.
We’re building a collaborative, highly skilled team to help change the advertising game. We’re makers. We’re doers. We’re thinkers.
And if that sounds like you, let’s talk.
The Opportunity
We’re looking for a Business Development Manager who knows how to build lasting brand relationships and turn sparks of opportunity into long-term partnerships. Based in London, you’ll help establish our new studio as a direct-to-brand partner across EMEA. You will be working with some of the biggest brands in automotive, tech, telco, fashion, gaming, sports, and entertainment.
This role is about more than prospecting. You’ll collaborate with producers, strategists, and creatives to craft propositions that cut through, driving both net-new engagements and repeat business. If you thrive on opening doors, shaping opportunities, and building trusted client relationships that lead to meaningful growth, this is the role for you.
What You'll Be Doing
Partner with the Global Partnerships Director to define and deliver the UK sales strategy, with clear KPIs and revenue goals.
Build direct-to-brand relationships with top global marketers, from priority target lists through to new opportunities.
Re-engage lapsed clients and expand relationships with existing ones, driving repeat business across multiple teams and markets.
Draft and track quarterly growth plans, ensuring targets are communicated, measured, and actioned across the team.
Work hand-in-hand with Executive Producers and the London leadership team to create standout proposals and pitch responses.
Ensure every sales deck, proposal, and asset is best-in-class—clear, compelling, and on-brand.
Drive innovative thinking and solutions into proposals that increase win rates.
Support marketing, PR, and award efforts that raise our profile and open new doors.
What You'll Bring
6+ years’ experience in business development or sales within production, creative, content, or entertainment sectors.
Proven track record of driving direct-to-brand revenue through creative-led propositions.
Ability to create and execute strategic sales plans with measurable KPIs and revenue targets.
Strong understanding of brand marketing, content creation, and creative technology.
Confidence in developing go-to-market strategies, crafting proposals, and presenting to senior clients.
Excellent communicator and relationship-builder with established industry networks.
Passion for emerging tech, new formats, and the future of content production.
Success Metrics
Meeting and exceeding revenue targets for direct-to-brand engagements.
Expanding the count of new direct-to-brand clients against target lists and beyond.
Driving repeat business from existing and lapsed clients.
Opening new teams and new briefs within priority brands.
