About the role

Are you a positive and competent administrator who thrives in fast-paced, collaborative environments? We are looking for a proactive Business Support Officer to support our Strategy & Urban Analytics team. You will help drive effectiveness and efficiencies across a range of key projects and services. 

As part of a passionate team committed to community outcomes, you’ll provide a wide range of support, from day-to-day organisation to high-level administrative and financial support. You will help manage priorities across a range of teams  and contribute to advancing strategic initiatives. 

 

Key responsibilities: 

  • provide financial admin support including purchase orders, invoices and reporting 
  • deliver high-quality admin support across divisional teams 
  • assist in coordinating events, activities and stakeholder communications 
  • support internal projects that drive improved outcomes and customer experience 
  • flexibly supplement team capacity as business needs arise. 

 

What we’re looking for: 

  • experience in a similar role in a fast-paced, service-focused environment 
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills 
  • ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines 
  • high-level skills in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) 
  • experience preparing reports, presentations and professional correspondence 
  • flexible, discreet and confident working across multiple teams 
  • knowledge of records management systems (e.g. TRIM/Content Manager) is a plus.

This role has the option of a rostered day off each month, known as a 19-day month.
