The Impact You Will Have  

The holder of this position is responsible for the delivery of Finance project & maintenance activities within AGCS North American and Global Finance Solutions. She/he contributes as business expert / representative as it relates to new/replacement system implementations, major/minor system enhancements or major process improvement initiatives with a focus on North American activities. She/he liaises with other CFO pillars, both in North America and globally, with IT, process management and other AGCS stakeholders. 

 

Some of your specific responsibilities could include: 

  • Ensure the timely and accurate execution of the global closing process, and other global processes, in particular around financial reporting and payment processing by coordinating, monitoring, issue identification and resolution. Address & resolve all issues raised from the CFO community 

  • Support the production of information for management and financial reporting, in particular using SAP BW, SAP Analytics Cloud and SAP Analysis for Office 

  • Support Finance stakeholders in making best use of the available reporting capabilitie 

  • Execute and/or contribute to the execution of governance processes in the responsibility of Finance Solutions. Support financial audits with the necessary reports ond process documentation from financial systems 

  • Work with local and global CFO teams to assess as-is process & system flow, develop/document business requirements, ensure understanding between AGCS functions, lead testing, facilitate sign off from CFO unit and ensure implementation and execution of features or other project deliverables 

  • Support the development of further financial applications and process landscape in close collaboration with the local and global CFO community, IT, process management and other AzC and Group functions. 

  • Harmonize, document and implement Finance related processes, based on sound analysis of various input from the different Finance teams and other sources 

  • Participate in process improvement initiatives within AGCS North America and the Global Finance community, and assure consistency accross multiple needs 

  • Support the root cause analysis of data quality issues, e.g. by analysing data, processes, and data flows 

  • Guide and mentor junior staff ( if any )  

 

What You’ll Bring to the Role 

  • 3-5 years experience in Finance and/or Insurance business area 

  • 3-5 years experience in project and team work in an international and dynamic environment  

  • 3-5 years experience in process analysis and documentation  

  • Knowledge of financial systems like SAP FI, SAP BW, SAP SAC, SAP AfO, Global Genius a plus  

  • Effectively developed solutions (including implementation) to complex stakeholder requirements a plus  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, IT 

  • Experience in applying artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) to improve business processes and decision-making is preferred  

 

The annualized base pay range for this role is $85,909 - $129,818.  The annual base salary range represents nationwide market range. The actual salary for this position may be above and will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate. The base pay is just one component of the AzC total compensation package. As part of our comprehensive compensation and highly rated benefits programs, employees are also eligible for annual performance-based cash incentive awards.
