Project Scheduling Intern – Capital & Infrastructure Projects
Project Overview
This internship offers a unique opportunity for a motivated individual to lead and support the scheduling and planning of capital and infrastructure projects within a high-performance aerospace manufacturing facility. Working closely with the Industrial Engineering (IE) and Facilities teams, the intern will play a key role in building and maintaining project schedules, identifying risks, and supporting executive-level reporting. This role is ideal for someone with strong project scheduling skills and a passion for driving operational and infrastructure improvement.

Main Project Deliverables
- Comprehensive Project Scheduling:
Develop detailed schedules for all capital and infrastructure projects, incorporating task dependencies, resource requirements, and critical path analysis.
- Schedule Maintenance & Collaboration:
Partner with IE and Facilities teams to ensure schedules are accurate, up-to-date, and reflect real-time project status.
- Schedule Risk & Opportunity Management:
Monitor project timelines and identify potential delays; propose creative recovery strategies to maintain schedule integrity. Take a holistic view of concurrent projects to identify risks and opportunities arising from schedule conflicts or resource constraints.
- Executive-Level Milestone Reporting:
Build tiered milestone schedules for leadership and executive briefings, enabling strategic oversight and decision-making.
- High-Level Metrics & Performance Tracking:
Generate and report key metrics such as S-Curves, Cost Performance Index (CPI), and Schedule Performance Index (SPI) to track project health.

Required Qualifications
- Currently in final year of school or within 1 year of graduating with Bachelor's degree or greater in Engineering(Mechanical, Industrial, Systems), Data Analytics, or a related technical field.
- Currently holds 3.0 GPA or higher.
- Available to work 30+ hours per week.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and capable of handling large datasets.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage cross-functional teams.
- US Person per ITAR regulations and able to comply with export compliance requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with capital project planning or infrastructure development.
- Experience with project performance metrics (e.g., CPI/SPI).
- Exposure to aerospace or manufacturing environments.
