To meet our challenges, we are looking for a Team Leader CTS India within the CTS (Customer Technical Service) team! This position will be located in Mumbai.

Our Team
Drawing insights from customer interactions, our CTS team develops, formulates, and evaluates our customers' products in the labs.
As the markets we serve at Roquette are Global, the CTS teams are globally based to better serve our customers around 4 areas (Europe, Americas, Greater Asia & China).
The CTS team builds strong partnerships with our Global R&D, as well as our commercial and marketing teams, to enhance customer service and support.

Their mission ?
To support the NBI’s business growth for Greater Asia region focusing on India with application work in the Dairy, Beverage and Confectionery Area. In addition to that, to support the technical development role India for local customers and channel partners.

Your experience and talents will make the difference to:

As Team Leader India:
• You ensure the right level of application support to customer’s projects in the region with our new ingredients or existing portfolio. Periodic visit to customers for project development, technical discussion, trainings and campaigns are expected
• You ensure the right level of application support in new product development, with a scientific approach, for all market segments. For Dairy, Beverage and Confectionery, you ensure directly the management of project with the required hands-on trials in the lab.
• In collaboration with Commercial and Marketing teams, you prioritize and drive the application of laboratory studies with your team.
• Collaborate with Channel partners to support training, concept development, progress of BOPs, joint customer visits, events and campaigns
• You participate actively with your teams in the in results evaluation and consistency of data
• You write publications, animate conferences in your areas of expertise.
• You organize, participate to applicative training of our commercial customer facing teams in the region, on new and existing solution
• You lead the team and ensure the development of their skills.
• You work closely with other Food CTS sites worldwide to share learning and support projects cross regionally.
• You manage safety and food safety of the lab, ensure compliance with group rules, and participate in their development including specific regional rules.

As Food Scientist (Dairy, Beverage and Confectionery):
• Develop & test dairy / plant-based and specialized nutrition applications including ready-to-drink beverages, ready-to-mix powders, paneer and yogurt.
• Provide support to customers on deeply technical projects or challenges
• Collaborate with Commercial, Quality, and Marketing to solve technical problems related to Roquette ingredients within applications and create prototypes for external promotion
• Conduct shelf-life studies and perform lab analysis on applications; set up and operate lab and pilot plant equipment
• Maintain detailed records of lab and pilot trials, as well as create reports and slides, to protect innovation and patenting opportunities
• Deliver technical trainings or seminars to internal and external customers to ensure an understanding of Roquette ingredients and appropriate applications
• Create and update SOP’s for lab, equipment, and processes as needed for efficient daily operating and identify areas for improvement
• Participate in industry technical discussions to keep informed of upcoming technologies
• Work as part of a team to coordinate and meet multiple project timelines
• Maintain compliance with company policies, training requirements, learning hours.

• Trained food scientist with a significant experience of minimum 15 years in a similar role within an international industrial environment.
• At the minimum, have 10 years of work experience in the following segment of dairy and beverages.
• Experience in Baking and Savory segments.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in team management
