Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Tool hanger Operator to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

As Manufacturing Tool Hanger Operator you will be a multiskilled operator, trained across both mouldshop and assembly to create our fluid management technology. Within the mouldshop, you will be responsible for completing tool changes and operating our injection moulding machines. Within assembly, you will be responsible for working on the assembly line to combine parts and components to create our fluid management technology. At each manufacturing stage, you will be required to inspect the product, identify and report any defects to ensure only products that meet the required specifications move on to the next manufacturing stage.

Key accountabilities include:

  • You will complete injection mould tool changes and complete machine start-ups up to 1st off.
  • You will operate the injection moulding machines and ancillary equipment.
  • You will operate the assembly line and associated equipment.
  • You will follow established manufacturing and safety procedures, to ensure we are complying with the BS EN ISO 14644 clean room requirements and BS EN ISO 9001.
  • You will inspect the products for any faults or defects.
  • You will maintain all relevant documentation to ensure you are complying with the BS EN ISO 14644 clean room requirements, BS EN ISO 9001 and cGMP standards.
  • You will report incidents, faulty operations, or product imperfections to your Team Leader for further exploration.
  • You will move materials and components between workstations, safely handling waste materials and finished products to maintain a tidy and organised cleanroom.
  • You will assist with the daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning operations within the cleanroom environment to ensure we are complying with BS EN ISO 14644 clean room requirements.

Skills/Experience:
  • Strong knowledge and experience in injection mould tool changes.
  • Experience of operating an injection moulding machine and ancillary equipment.
  • You will have experience of working on an assembly line and following manual assembly techniques for plastic injection moulded products.
  • Awareness of the BS EN ISO 14644 clean room requirements, BS EN ISO 9001 and cGMP standards.
  • Excellent attention to detail to ensure the accurate assembly of products and strict adherence to specifications.
  • Have the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ensuring that injection moulding machine and assembly line output is aligned to cycle times.
  • You will work effectively as part of a team and develop strong working relationships with other members of the manufacturing team including quality control technicians, mouldshop technicians and logistic operatives.
