The Role

Sofina Foods is looking for a dedicated Customer Service Assistant to join our team. The Ideal Candidate

  • Proven customer service excellence
  • Determination to drive sales and meet deadlines
  • IT literacy and understanding of legal requirements/procedures
  • Ability to motivate and guide team members daily
  • Flexibility in working hours and willingness to work under pressure
  • Confidence to support the store manager when required and act professionally
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to train new team members

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and serve customers with professionalism and enthusiasm
  • Prepare and maintain the counter to the highest standard
  • Prepare different cuts of meat and provide product knowledge to customers
  • Assist with counter and pre-pack areas, including product sampling
  • Carry out stock rotation, apply price reductions, and distribute promotional materials
  • Receive deliveries and complete associated paperwork
  • Maintain excellent hygiene standards through regular cleaning
  • Take part in internal training to build skills and knowledge
  • Support the management function when required
