THE OPPORTUNITY

As a Registration Officer you will play a vital role in supporting the sustainability and growth of EML by ensuring new WorkCover claims are registered accurately and on time. You will be part of a high-performing, customer-focused team that delivers a best practice new claims model for both internal and external stakeholders.
By applying consistent, efficient, and quality work practices, you will help meet scheme regulator expectations while laying the foundation for effective case management and positive customer outcomes.
This will be a full time, permanent position based in the Melbourne office, with flexibility to work from home up to 3 days per week.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively, organise workload, and prioritise responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong initiative and capacity to work independently, supported by effective oral and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of Victorian legislation, associated regulations, and medical terminology relevant to workers compensation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with the ability to quickly adapt to WorkSafe systems such as NOVUS, ACCtion and Tempus.
- Experience providing high quality administrative support, with exposure to insurance or workers compensation highly regarded.
ABOUT YOU
- Superior time management and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively.
- High level of initiative and capacity to work autonomously with minimal direction.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, with a sound understanding of medical terminology.
- Knowledge of Victorian legislation and associated regulations, with experience in insurance or workers compensation desirable.
