Role Overview
The Inside Sales & Partner Support Specialist is a hybrid role that combines proactive sales generation with operational and strategic support for channel partners. This position is ideal for a driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building relationships, and is passionate about both hunting new business and enabling partner success.
You will be responsible for identifying and closing new sales opportunities while also acting as a key liaison for partner onboarding, quoting, and post-sales support. This role is critical to driving revenue growth and enhancing the partner experience across the EMEA region.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Development & Lead Generation
- Proactively identify and engage new mid-market prospects through outbound calls, emails, and campaigns.
- Qualify leads from marketing activities (e.g., webinars, whitepapers, events) and convert them into sales opportunities.
- Present Ribbon’s technology solutions with a consultative approach tailored to customer needs.
- Manage the sales pipeline using Salesforce, ensuring accurate tracking and timely follow-up.
Partner Support & Enablement
- Serve as the first point of contact for partner inquiries post-sale, including order status, product availability, and invoice issues.
- Support partner onboarding, including portal access, training guidance, and deal registration walkthroughs.
- Assist with quoting, order consolidation, and coordination with Sales Engineers and internal teams.
- Track partner certifications, coordinate training sessions, and manage certification renewals.
Campaign & Program Execution
- Collaborate with Partner Account Managers to support marketing campaigns, event follow-ups, and partner outreach.
- Help manage BDF/MDF submissions, payments, and reporting.
- Contribute to the rollout of channel programs (e.g., trade-in offers, marketing incentives).
Operational Excellence
- Escalate urgent service-related issues and RMAs to appropriate internal teams.
- Reconcile POS/inventory reports and update Salesforce forecasts.
- Ensure a seamless partner experience by resolving issues quickly and efficiently.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in inside sales, partner support, or channel operations in the technology sector.
- Proven track record of generating and closing new business.
- Strong understanding of telecom, networking, or unified communications solutions.
- Experience with Salesforce CRM and partner portals.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in English; additional EMEA languages (especially German or French) are a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
