Job Description

Administers, scores, and interprets psychological assessments under the supervision of a licensed clinical psychologist. Proactively supports efforts that ensure delivery of safe patient care and services and promote a safe environment at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.

Experience

  • Minimum of (4) years practice under the direct supervision of a licensed Neuropsychologist or Psychologist. This does not include experience gained as part of a graduate training program.

OR

  • 2 years of experience with a Master’s degree.  This does not include experience gained as part of a graduate training program.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred
  • Experience in psychological assessment in a pediatric outpatient and/or inpatient setting
  • Experience in psychological assessment in a medical setting
  • Master’s degree in Psychology from an accredited school
  • Certified Specialist in Psychometry (CSP) OR certification in related field (i.e. School Psychologist, National Association of Certified School Psychologist – NCSP)
  • Bilingual Fluency Assessment Proficiency

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or related field from an accredited school 

Certification Summary

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of employment

Job Responsibilities

  • Administer psychological assessments and testing, predominantly in an outpatient setting.
  • Document patient information according to hospital policy.
  • Organize and maintain testing supplies.
  • Provide training and support for trainees.
  • Maintain professional development.
  • Participate in the achievement of organizational and departmental goals.
  • Perform other responsibilities as required.
