Overview
Location: Bend, OregonCompensation: $25.25–$28.00/hour
Schedule (Full-Time):
- Wednesdays: Alternating between daytime admin hours or 10:00 PM–8:00 AM overnight
- Thursdays & Fridays: 10:00 PM–8:00 AM
- Saturdays: 8:00 PM–8:00 AM
Compensation & Advancement:
- Raises: $0.50 after 6 months, $1.00 after 12 months
- Shift Differentials: $3.00–$6.00 for short-notice or night shift coverage
Embark Behavioral Health Bend is seeking a reliable, skilled, and empathetic Overnight Residential Manager to join our team and make a meaningful impact in the lives of adolescents. This leadership role is ideal for individuals with experience in mental health, psychology, social services, inpatient healthcare, or direct care.
As the Overnight Residential Manager, you will supervise a team of overnight staff, ensuring a safe, structured, and supportive environment for our clients throughout the night.

Located in Bend, Oregon, our residential treatment facility serves youth ages 10–17 who are navigating behavioral health challenges. Our family-style residence fosters healing, growth, and community engagement in a nurturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead overnight shifts, ensuring smooth operations and task completion
- Supervise and support Overnight Residential Mentors through weekly meetings, feedback, and coaching
- Assist with onboarding and training of new staff
- Conduct regular safety and wellness checks, documenting observations
- Maintain program structure and boundaries
- Communicate effectively with team members and document shift details
- Respond to crises using trained de-escalation techniques
- Occasionally assist with meal prep and kitchen duties
- Support residential upkeep, animal care, and administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum age: 21
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Current First Aid and CPR certifications
- Successful completion of background check and drug screening
- Strong communication and rapport-building skills
- Ability to de-escalate emotionally or behaviorally dysregulated individuals
- Reliable, organized, and punctual

Preferred Experience:
- At least 1 year in a residential or direct care role with youth
- Overnight shift experience
