Primary Purpose
Provide campuses and departments support as they fully implement Title I grant programs. Actively engage in actions that contribute to the overall mission and strategic plan of Clear Creek ISD.
Qualifications
Education/Certification/Licensure
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or significant relevant experience
Special Knowledge/Skills
Effective communication, interpersonal and public relations skills Strong organizational and communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and inventory tracking systems
Ability to utilize on-line research skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Experience
Minimum of 3 years experience in federal programs, preferably in a school district setting
Prefer strong knowledge of Title I purchasing, inventory, and parent and family engagement requirements
Bilingual in English and Spanish (oral and written proficiency required)
Major Responsibilities and Duties
- Build new/increase current high-impact parent and family engagement activities on Title I, Part A campuses with a special emphasis on EB students and their families.
- Identify best practices and develop a toolkit for educators to increase two-way communication between school and home utilizing Title I, Part A programming.
- Coordinate Title 1 Clerk activities and professional learning to identify and grow high impact PFE strategies and minimize low impact activities.
- Provide parents with information regarding ways to collaborate with Title I, Part A campuses and support each child’s social, emotional, and academic growth.
- Review and edit translated Title I-related documents, forms, and communications (Spanish)
- Ensure translations are culturally appropriate and accessible.
- Provide communication support and participate in campus-specific PFE activities to support bilingual families on campuses where bilingual staff counts are low.
- Analyze student data to prioritize families in need of engagement.
- Support campuses in the development and implementation of outreach strategies to engage Spanish-speaking and other multilingual families utilizing Title 1, Part A programming.
- Collaborate with the Lead Teacher of the Adult Education program to on building school/ community connections.
- Stay current on new developments and research in parent and family engagement by reading publications, attending professional conferences, and networking with surrounding school districts.
- Maintain and update inventory of all equipment and assets purchased using Federal funds.
- Conduct periodic physical inventories at school sites.
- Ensure proper tagging, tracking, and reporting of Title I assets.
- Manage the schedule and workflow of Title I clerks.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for campus Title I clerks.
- Notify campus principals of new Title clerk at their campus and availability.
- Train new clerks on their job duties/responsibilities.

- Research district policy, precedent, and current practices prior to taking action.

- Participates fully in drills and safety exercises to provide for the safety and overall emotional wellbeing of students.
- Utilize time wisely for effective management of job responsibilities.

- Maintain friendly customer-service-driven interactions with all stakeholders, students, teachers, administrators, and co-workers.
- Work cooperatively with co-workers and supervisors to ensure that the goals of the school/ department are met.
- Maintain a positive and professional tone in all communication (i.e. email, written, and verbal).
- Perform other duties and accept other responsibilities as assigned.
