CorVel Corporation is seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Systems Administrator to join our Cloud Operations Team. This role combines responsibilities in system administration, cloud automation, release engineering, and DevOps practices. You will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing environments, supporting internal applications, and driving critical processes.
This is a remote position.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Administer and maintain CorVel’s internally developed applications and infrastructure, including server builds, deployments, monitoring, and performance tuning.
- Design, implement, and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell and other scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
- Manage software releases using DevOps and deployment pipelines.
- Support and enhance CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and other automation tools.
- Monitor cloud and on-premise environments, configure alerts, and proactively address system vulnerabilities and performance issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely project delivery and system reliability.
- Contribute to security posture improvements and compliance with best practices
PREFEED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with Azure Core resources Storage, Networking and Compute and Serverless
- Knowledge of infrastructure as code and Azure resource deployment (especially PaaS).
- Exposure to enterprise monitoring tools and Log Analytics.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, Network+, Security+)
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- 2+ years of experience in systems administration in hybrid enterprise environments.
- Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, with experience in advanced features
- Proficiency in managing Windows Server 2019+ and .NET/web applications.
- Familiarity with source control systems (Git, TFS) and CI/CD tools.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
PAY RANGE:
CorVel uses a market based approach to pay and our salary ranges may vary depending on your location. Pay rates are established taking into account the following factors: federal, state, and local minimum wage requirements, the geographic location differential, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, internal employee equity, and market conditions. Our ranges may be modified at any time.
For leveled roles (I, II, III, Senior, Lead, etc.) new hires may be slotted into a different level, either up or down, based on assessment during interview process taking into consideration experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role. The level may impact the salary range and these adjustments would be clarified during the offer process.
Pay Range: $68,696 – $114,313
