Support all field, operations and engineering internal customers with professional competitive bidding, proposal analysis, negotiation and contract development for goods and services.
Ensuring that all requests have clearly defined mechanical and performance specifications and/or scope of work to effectively communicate Airgas requirements to potential suppliers
Maximizing the purchasing power of Air Liquide USA and Airgas, to reduce our total cost of ownership and increase efficiencies and measure these savings
Ensuring timely and accurate placement of purchase orders/contracts in accordance with the requirements of internal customers and the approved supplier list maximizing the savings achieved in each transaction
Enters purchase orders into the ERP system
Protecting Air Liquide through sound commercial and legal terms incorporated in the purchase order or contract
Effectively issuing requests for proposal, analyzing technical and commercial responses from suppliers on required products and services, negotiating the requirements and sourcing the requirement through accepted suppliers.
Identifying and implementing pricing agreements with preferred suppliers for continuous improvement and cost savings
Managing all blanket orders to ensure expiration dates do not lapse before renewal.
Establishing additional blanket orders and or contracts where beneficial
Displays proficient knowledge and use of Oracle R12 procurement and reporting modules
Proficient in the use of Google+ products, including Slides, Calendar, Drive, Sheets, and Docs
Proficient use of Google+ for e-mail

Are you a MATCH?
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 2-5 years of progressive experience in Supply Chain Management
Proficient use of Google+ for e-mail
Proficient in the use of Google+ products, including Slides, Calendar, Drive, Sheets, and Docs
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or other business related fields. Purchasing services experience will be considered.
