About the Department
The city’s annual winter kickoff combines the uniquely Milwaukie tradition of the Umbrella Parade with our tree lighting. The city is seeking volunteers to help with setup and teardown. Come make this holiday magic happen for our community!

Two volunteer shifts:
1:00 - 4:30 PM (5 people)
6:00 - 7:30 PM (5 people)
CERT and Rotary Members (please indicate your affiliation when submitting your application)
One volunteer shift:
3:00 - 6:30 PM
Position Duties
Provide a helpful, professional presence at the event Assist with event setup and cleanup Perfrom regular litter patrols during the event
