Product Managers are responsible for setting a product vision and strategy, drawing out the most value from a product and guiding Product Owners to execute on the product vision. The Product Manager also works closely with Architects and other technical leads to ensure the solution effectively addresses program priorities while maintaining technical integrity. The Product Manager also attends most relevant product management meetings, planning, and backlog/vision refinement sessions. Product Managers work with Product Owners and customers to understand and communicate their needs, define system features, and participate in validation.

The Product Manager role on the EM team is responsible for setting the product vision and strategy, roadmap and execution, drawing out the most value from a product and working with the team to execute on the product vision. They will drive implementation, execution, metrics, and sustainability of program objectives. The role is responsible for the coordination, execution and end to end orchestration of all monitoring, observability and logging initiatives in the Enterprise Monitoring roadmap. The Product Manager attends and supports product management meetings, including agile ceremonies such as planning and backlog refinement sessions. Additionally, they are responsible for managing product budgeting, creating cost plans and purchase order processing.

*This position will be filled onsite in Issaquah, WA or Dallas, TX.

ROLE

      Participates in program ceremonies (e.g., product increment planning sessions, retrospectives, etc.).

      Facilitates Product Owner “Scrum-of-Scrum” meetings to drive alignment across product teams and assess and review scope adjustments.

      Pursues incremental delivery constantly by looking for ways to meet business goals and learn from members and end users through frequent, measurable enhancements.

      Owns the overall vision and roadmap of given products and leads the ideation, technical development, and launch of new features and capabilities.

      Works closely with the Product team to ensure an aligned vision with company and leadership goals.

      Manages, executes, and tracks deliverables for the Enterprise Monitoring initiatives and identifies gaps that need to be addressed.

      Supports the team in tracking product performance metrics and makes necessary adjustments to program strategies based on these insights.

      Acts as the “face” and “voice” of Enterprise Monitoring to the IT CDS teams and Leadership, and works closely to build relationships that show true collaborative effort and partnership.

      Coordinates and supports overall Infosec activities throughout the organization, including the consolidation of periodic status and progress reports to Leadership teams, and key stakeholders.

      Collaborates with Business stakeholders to define and prioritize the features and epics which yield the highest business benefit for the organization.

      Partners with our engineering teams to better understand their pain points and deliver needed security solutions, while balancing usability and efficiency.

      Manages two or more global enterprise projects simultaneously.

      Collaborates with Architects to understand the need to address technical debt and support technical innovation.

      Leads activities to support the delivery of new functionality including product launch communications, training materials, user acceptance testing, business validation, success criteria measurement and analysis, and post-deployment analysis to identify improvements.

      Coordinates the development and maintenance of a given product through the collaboration and partnership with internal customers, vendors, and strategic partners.

      Defines the product roadmap and collaborates with stakeholders to create release plans and backlogs.

      Writes features and success criteria with key stakeholders and business leaders.

      Refines the product roadmap continually based on insights gained from customer feedback.

      Makes final business decisions related to the product with input from business and technology stakeholders.

      Collaborates with business stakeholders to identify and explore new opportunities (e.g., promotions, partnerships) to extend products to new customers, verticals, and late adopters.

      Serves the organization as the subject matter expert with respect to competition, industry trends, technological advances, and changing customer needs.

      Demonstrates thought leadership and champions the product vision across the company.

 

REQUIRED

      Minimum of 6 years hands-on experience as Product Manager, Product Owner, or Product management experience.

      Conversant in technology matters related to logging, observability, monitoring, security, architecture, emerging InfoSec trends, compliance, and risk management.

      Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, that can communicate security and compliance issues to Executives, end-users, and security experts in an effective and appropriate manner.

      Outstanding customer/client relations skills to ensure that security and business objectives are always in alignment and a flexible and business-oriented focus on security matters.

      Deep understanding of business requirements elicitation pursuant to specific programs/projects involved.

      Expertise in utilizing standard documentation tools/utilities.

      Extremely responsive, with a strong sense of urgency. Deadline oriented and capable of self-management.

      Able to work well under stress and handle crisis situations professionally.

      Strong work ethic, demonstrated attention to detail, excellent time management and organizational skills.

      Ability to work both independently and within a close team environment.

Recommended

      Working knowledge of tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, Google Cloud Logging, Google SecOps, Network Node Manager, or similar tooling in the monitoring and observability space.

      Knowledge of secure Software Development Life Cycle.

      Ability to communicate complex and technical issues to diverse audiences, verbally and in writing, in an easily-understood, authoritative, and actionable manner.

      Experience related to security design, architecture, incident response, and strategic planning.

      Proficient in Google Workspace applications, including Sheets, Docs, Slides, and Gmail.

Pay Ranges: 

Level 1  - $80,000 - $108,000

Level 2  - $95,000 - $130,000

Level 3  - $125,000 - $162,000 

Level 4  - $150,000 - $200,000
