Davies has an immediate opening for an experienced Customer Service Representative. You will be responsible for supporting our Third-Party Administration (TPA) claims Transportation Division by providing top-notch service to our valued customers. Main responsibilities will include handling policy holder and claimant calls through our telephony system, managing email and assisting with various administrative duties assigned. 
 
 This is and in office position located in our San Antonio office.  

Key Responsibilities

  • Efficiently handle customer calls and email
  • Communicate effectively over the phone demonstrating excellent verbal communication skills 
  • Collaborate with claims adjusters and managers to address customer needs ensuring timely communication 
  • Document claims files with notes and action items 
  • Perform administrative tasks as assigned
  • Demonstrate a proactive approach to customer interactions ensuring a positive customer experience 
  • Follow established procedures for authorized communication, cycle times and target expectations. 

Skills, knowledge & expertise

  • Minimum of 1 year of phone experience 
  • 1 year of insurance customer service experience 
  • Proficiency with technology 
  • Good problem-solving aptitude
  • Ability to adapt to change, proactively recognize process improvement opportunities
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills 
  • Proven success working in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills 
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting
  • Bilingual (Spanish speaking) a plus
