Major/Essential Functions
- Maintain accurate and complete student records as required by law, campus and administrative regulations. Keep abreast of changing rules, techniques and philosophies relevant to advising.
- Prepare reports on students as required by administration. Review transcripts and other data to ensure that students meet requirements. Participate in recruitment and enrollment activities.
- Interact with students, parents, registrars, and school officials. Answer questions, relay Information and solve problems in a professional and timely manner. Assure that officials and agencies are provided information 15% necessary to meet student's needs.
- Perform data entry procedures in different systems used by TTU K-12. with speed and accuracy enter student information into the Student Information System, Learning Management System, Record Retention System. Help with TREX, fax, and email records requests. Help with international and stateside transcript requests. Help registrar with international graduates. Ability to use office equipment, computers and phone systems. Respond to email messages in a timely manner and seek help form supervisors and peers as needed. Have understanding of the TTU-K12 programs, policies and procedures. Be able to assist internal and external customers. Help with all scanning and indexing for full-time, supplemental and bulk students. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Serve as a resource for students, faculty, and staff on registration and records policies. Provide guidance to students on academic procedures (registration deadlines, graduation requirements, etc.).
- Computer literate in Word, Excel, Student information system knowledge (Focus), Student portal, Blackboard. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to handle multiple projects. Ability to work in teams and work effectively under stressful situations, ability to plan and organize. Detail oriented.

- Previous work with K-12 schools.
- Be knowledgeable of confidentiality standards, including FERPA. Detail oriented, critical thinking skills and organizational skills. Preferred knowledge related to K-12 schools.
