Support Services Clerk en Education Service Center Region 13

Qualifications:

1. Provide clerical support for Business Office, Technology, Transportation, Food Service, Facilities and Operations, and PEIMS.
2. Support could include purchasing procedures, time keeping, credit card process management, handling cash receipts, records retention, insurance claims, scheduling, and other tasks.

3. Verify accuracy of shipments and record any discrepancies or damage.
4. Load and unload delivery trucks as needed.  Unpack items and inspect shipments for damage and defects.
5. Reconcile delivered goods with Packing Slip and Purchase Order Detail
6. Receive shipments in Business System

Inventory

7. Assist in pulling and fulfilling Warehouse Requests/Orders
8. Conduct physical inventory of warehoused equipment, tools, and supplies and verify against inventory control totals. Maintain inventory records.
9. Requisition additional supplies from purchasing department as directed.

Safety

10. Follow established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties including lifting and carrying. Operate tools, equipment, and vehicles according to prescribed safety procedures.
11. Correct unsafe conditions in work area and promptly report any conditions that are not immediately correctable to supervisor.
12. Follow district safety protocols and emergency procedures.

Other

13. Assist in fulfilling District wide ICE Funds initiative, including but not limited to effectively communicating with requestor, confirming all orders are appropriate, ordering goods from vendor, and recording orders.
14. Perform other duties as assigned

Lifting: Heavy lifting and carrying (45 pounds and over) on a daily basis

Environment: Work outside and inside, on slippery or uneven walking surfaces; frequent exposure to extreme hot and cold temperatures, dust, toxic chemicals and materials, noise, and vibration; work around moving objects or vehicles; may work alone; occasional prolonged or irregular hours
